Each pair of Ecochic Shades sunglasses is handcrafted from bamboo—nature's remarkably renewable wonder that can grow up to 36 inches in a single day. This extraordinary growth rate allows bamboo to be harvested without depleting resources or causing long-term environmental impact. Despite its lightweight character, bamboo provides surprising strength and durability, creating eyewear that's both resilient and gentle on our planet. Our packaging represents our commitment to environmental stewardship at every step. Each shipping box is crafted with 100% recycled fibers and contains 95% post-consumer waste diverted from landfills. FSC® certified recycled corrugate ensures responsible forest management, while the absence of synthetic polymers makes our boxes naturally biodegradable and curbside recyclable. We have thought about even the smallest details for sustainability—our packing tape is made from renewable raw materials that can be regrown, our inks are derived from algae, and our box filler uses recycled kraft paper. We strive to have a closed-loop system that respects our planet's resources.
