These bottoms are made with Carvico's Vita fabric, a sustainable techno-fabric that recycles waste fibres into innovative high end fabrics that are twice as resistant to chlorine and sun care creams and oils than other swimwear fabrics.

Following Archipelago's aim to create swimwear that doesn't compromise the environment, our new Eco Black line is made from the eco-friendly Carvico’s Vita fabric. This sustainable fabric helps to eliminate waste and takes us a step further in the right direction.
SUSTAINABLE
Nylon waste from landfills and oceans around the world is transformed into ECONYL® regenerated nylon.
The Vita fabric is 78% nylon and 22% spandex.
LUXURIOUS
Vita is versatile, hyper-resistant, thin, elegant, has two-way stretch, and is soft and breathable. It is a unique mix of muscular compression and comfort.
DURABLE
It is built to last. Resistant to pilling, ultra-chlorine and the effects of sunscreen and oil, means you can soak up the sun with no worries.
REPREVE FIBER
Our Pink Salt collection is handcrafted using recycled plastic fabrics from the Repreve fiber. This performance fiber prevents billions of plastic bottles from going into landfill. Keep scrolling to learn all about it.
CONSERVING RESOURCES
This fabric doesn’t just find new life for recycled materials. Compared to virgin fiber, Repreve® by Unifi is 78% recycled plastic and 22% spandex, offsetting new petroleum use, emitting fewer greenhouse gasses and conserving water and energy in the process.
